The WordBank allows families and the clinician to:
- decrease or prevent any potential word gaps
- track language acquisition (progress)
- demonstrate change in the child’s language production
- determine whether the child’s language development is on track
- determine variety of sentence structure for communicative purposes.

Purpose of using The WordBank

The purpose of the WordBank is to observe, track,
and measure language growth and development in children below the age of 3. It is a great tool to systematically track the child’s progress as well as partner with caregivers to ensure they understand the process of language development, the impacts of delayed language, and how language delays can impact other developmental areas.
